About BDL
BDL was born from a simple question: Why is furniture — arguably the most personal part of a home — so often treated like an afterthought? After years of working on high-end interiors in Mumbai, I saw the same pattern over and over: layouts, materials, and lighting were meticulously planned, but furniture was reduced to catalogue picks and showroom pieces. Beautiful spaces, missing soul.
BDL began as a response. Not just a design studio, but a way of thinking. A place where every piece is a conversation between material, story, and space.

What We Do
From a single sculptural piece to a complete interior, every BDL project begins with the same question — what story does this space want to tell? We design and build bespoke furniture, from our signature collections to entirely new commissions. We take on full interior projects, from concept through to completion — space planning, material selection, on-site execution. And for architects, designers, and discerning homeowners, we offer focused design consultations to bring fresh perspective to spaces in progress.
