Pilastro
Carved from a single block of Arabescato marble, quietly classical.
It's a Roman column laid on its side. The surface is scored with horizontal grooves that quote the fluting of the real thing, and the veining of the stone reads as structure rather than decoration.
Precisely cut and genuinely heavy, it sits in a room as much like a sculpture as a table — and works as both.
